About Us

Our names are Garrett and Stacie Gundermann. Garrett and I met in 2002 in high school and have been together ever since, and in October 2009, got married.

On April 23, 2013 we welcomed our beautiful little girl McKynlie Brielle Gundermann to our family. She is perfect in every way and is all sass and has daddy wrapped around her little finger. She knows it too and he wouldn't have it any other way! She is currently in Kindergarten and LOVES going to school and seeing her friends. She is also looking forward to tee-ball and swimming lessons this spring.

On January 12, 2016 we welcomed our handsome little man Coleson Max. We weren't prepared for his feisty attitude he's had since day one. Seriously, if there was a picture for the definition of drama king he is it!! Polar opposite of his sister who is the most laid back child. He is definetly his daddy's son as he is OBSESSED with all things tractor (and his momma).... :) ! He has a smile that can make any person happy and uses it to get out of trouble quite often!

Now a little bit about our business...

We started Gundermann Acres in 2009 after years of working with Garrett's parents at Gundermann Farms .Garrett is a fourth-generation farmer.

***Hang in there, this gets a little confusing... :-)***

Garrett's great grandpa and grandma started a flower shop in Texas City called Gunde's. Garrett's grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Gundermann, started a meat market in Dickinson, Tx and had a peach orchard in East Texas as well. After years of having the meat market and peach orchard in East Texas, Walter and Dorothy moved to the little town of Wharton, Tx. From there they opened Peachland, a 90-acre peach orchard, in Glen Flora, Tx. The company remained Peachland until the mid-1990's when Garrett's parents Joan and Walter gave the farm a little makeover and decided to grow other fruits and vegetables, thus Gundermann Farms was born.....And as history goes, now it's Garrett who farms.... And now we have Gundermann Acres!!!

We would not be able to do what we do without our wonderful friends, family, oops child (inside joke- his names is Michael and we love him like our own),  and awesome employees. They work tirelessly seven days a week... wind, rain or shine, thunderstorms or freezes, even a couple hurricanes. We wouldn't be where we our today without their efforts and they are all greatly appreciated!
